BVCHC Manager Receives Certification in Electronic Health Records (EHR)

August 18th, 2010

Recently, BVCHC’s Corrine Robinson earned the only nationally-recognized certification for electronic health records; the designation of Certified Professional in Electronic Health Records (CPEHR). Offered by Quality Partners of Rhode Island, this opportunity was made possible by funding from the Governor’s Workforce Board.

As more physicians’ offices make the transition from paper to electronic health records, the need for focused education becomes more critical. Along with sixteen other graduates, Corrine becomes a member of QPRI’s first “graduating” class, certified in electronic health records. Corrine continues her EHR education by pursuing a NextGen certification that she hopes to complete this fall.
