BVCHC Acts as Outreach Partner in National Campaign
July 13th, 2010
Starting today, Blackstone Valley Community Health Care will do its part to promote a free mobile information service. Text4baby was designed to promote maternal and child health and provides pregnant women and new moms with information to help them care for their health and give their babies the best possible start to life. This educational program of the National Health Mothers, Healthy Babies Coalition was launched as a national campaign in February 2010 to help women have safe and healthy pregnancies.
To sign up for text4baby, simply text BABY to 511411 (or BEBE in Spanish) to receive text messages each week, timed to your due date or baby’s date of birth.
