Governor Appoints BVCHC Provider to Search Committee

Recently, Dr. Peter Howland served on Governor Carcieri’s search committee to find a new Rhode Island Child Advocate. This 10-member search committee, which included two Family Court judges, a psychologist and a social worker, met several times during the first weeks of 2010. During their time together, the search committee interviewed potential candidates for the five-year term position, and recommended three finalists to the Governor. We thank Dr. Howland for his continued support and commitment to the State of Rhode Island.
